Language of Instruction
English is the language of instruction for all classes other than language classes. Students are expected to use the target language for each class. French in French class, Arabic in Arabic, Religion, and National Studies class, English in all other classes.
Students are educated in the following core subjects: English, Arabic, National Studies, Mathematics, and Science. They also have classes in Art, Information Technology, Music, and Physical Education. Students in kindergarten to Junior 1 enroll in Arabic only, while students in grades two to eight enroll in both Arabic and French. Students begin instruction in Religion lesson beginning Junior 1. All subjects, excluding AL English, follow the curriculum sent by the Ministry of Education. The length of time scheduled for students in these classes varies according to their developmental level and subject.
